Sicily to Ibiza


Alan Phillpot sailed a Jeaneau Sun Odysee 425 from Sicily to Ibiza as an Ocean passage - one leg, 543 miles with 74 hours being more than 50 miles offshore.

The name comes from the initials of the three original owners.
Weoghi was crossing the Med to eventually join the ARC+ - hence the amount of kit on her.

Apparently, this bird likes marshland so what was it doing more than a hundred miles from land?
