Skippered Cruises Prices and Dates
2024 Skippered Cruises are priced at £210 for a three-day (half-week). If there is sufficient demand, adjacent half-weeks will be offered as seven-day cruises for £399/berth.
Premium Cruises are £280 per half-week and £533 for a full-week cruise. Berths are limited to three plus the skipper on Celtic Flame II and to four plus the Skipper on Ocean flame IV and Hebridean Flame II
A security deposit of £100 per berth is required. The deposit is refundable, subject to the same rules that apply to bareboat charters.
A kitty system will operate for food, fuel and berthing.
Our Skippers are not paid by the Association and volunteer their services for free, they will fully contribute to cruise expenses. Please note that our Skippers are not necessarily RYA qualified.

Skippers berth is free but you are expected to join the kitty for incidental expenses.

We intend to once again plan sessions throughout the fleet. These cruises are not only designed for those members who wish to improve their general boat handling Skills, but also those who may wish to become Skippers (Coastal) or those who would like to progress from Coastal to Offshore status within the Association.

Skippered Cruises - Berth Availability

We are again hoping to organise a move of Hebridean Flame II to the Western Isles for part of the season and, subject to confirmation, there may be some berths available both in the Clyde and around the islands.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and to reserve your berth, please contact gsa.skipcruise@gmail.com and please state your willingness or otherwise to sharing a double berth.

It will help planning the cruises if you can give some idea of which boat and when you would like go sailing. Note that we are still in the planning stage and, while expressions of interest will help us, we cannot guarantee to meet all preferences.
